No, no action is required. You can continue to use your TD Rebate Rewards Visa Card as you do today up to and after June 19, 2017. On that day, the replacement TD Cash Back Program (described on the Overview tab) will apply to all purchases made with your Card. In addition, Common Carrier insurance coverage will no longer apply, while Purchase Security and Extended Warranty Protection will commence. You will not need new Card plastic for these changes to take effect.
No. Any cash rebate you have earned with your TD Rebate Rewards Visa Card up to and including June 18, 2017 will keep its current value in full and will automatically be rolled into the replacement TD Cash Back Program on June 19, 2017.
Any regularly recurring bill payments currently set up on your Account (such as internet, telephone), will continue. You will not need to contact these merchants because your Card number will not change.
Note: Any automated payments that you have currently set up on your chequing or savings account to pay your card balance, will also continue.
There is no minimum redemption amount when you choose to receive your Cash Back Dollars credit annually to your Card statement. Redemptions of Cash Back Dollars at any time on request must be for a minimum amount of $25 or more.
Remember that there are caps to the accelerated earn rate in everyday spend categories of Grocery, Gas and regularly recurring bill payment. In these categories, you earn 1% up to a maximum of $5000 per category per year. After which you will earn at the base earn rate of 0.5% on every purchase in those categories. On all other purchases, you will earn 0.5% with no limits.
